Standard 42 SMART is an electronic lock with universal and clean looks. It is suitable for lots of unique styles of interior. The surfaces are processed by a Japanese technology making the lock exceptionally durable and corrosion resistant. This technology makes the lock suitable also for humid environment.

The lock does not require any wiring as the power supply for it is thru batteries. It needs 4 pcs alkaline batteries AA 1.5V. As it is with high energy efficiency, with just one set of batteries it can work from 2 up to 4 years. The Mobile APP and the on-line software provide a real-time information about the condition of the batteries. In case of low batteries there is also a sound and a light signalization when unlocking with a master card or any other service card. There is a possibility for 200 more unlocks after the first signalization.

The unlocking is via contactless encrypted card or tag with HF technology RFID (radio frequency identification) on high frequencies of 13.56 MHz. This technology allows reading of the card at a distance without the necessity of physical contact between the card and the reader. In this way the aging of the card does not affect the unlocking of the lock. The lock can also be unlocked through an electronic key on a Mobile application or directly thru the software.  In case of any problem unlocking with a mechanical key or a special emergency card is also provided. The keyhole for the mechanical key is hidden behind a round decorative element that can be unlocked with a hex screwdriver.

For the hotel systems the programming of the cards can be done by special web-based on-line software (TThotel) with a version for mobile phone and version for a PC. For the stand-alone variant, the programing of the cards is by the mobile application TTlock – also with a version for mobile phone and version for a PC.

The lock is suitable for wooden doors with thickness 4 cm and above. It can be used for hotel systems, offices, or homes. The lock can be installed on either new or old doors.

If you need to change an old lock with Standard 42 you must change not only the shields, but also the mortise, because the electronic control of the lock is built in the mortise. It is also important to estimate if the shields of the Standard 42 will cover the holes from the old lock. If not, a more suitable lock should be chosen, or the holes should be covered with special plates made for this door.

The lock is provided with a built-in clock and memory for almost 1000 cases, including unlocking by card and by mechanical key. The information can be extracted via a special card or a mobile device.
